Album Shield Terms of Use

Effective August 29, 2026

Album Shield is developed and provided by Robert E Bowers Jr under the Bstone Solutions brand. By using Album Shield, you acknowledge the following storage, backup, deletion, and purchase conditions.

Your backup responsibility

Album Shield has no cloud or developer vault backup. Album Shield and Bstone Solutions do not create, possess, or maintain a backup of your photos, videos, vault, or encryption keys. You are responsible for exporting and backing up important media before deleting Album Shield or replacing, erasing, losing, repairing, resetting, or disposing of your device. Reinstalling the app or restoring a purchase does not restore vault media.

Permanent deletion

Deleted items normally remain encrypted in Hidden for 15 days. Delete Now erases an item immediately. After the recovery period, the item is permanently erased during the app’s next cleanup. Permanently erased media cannot be recovered by you, Bstone Solutions, Apple through Album Shield, or customer support.

Storage capacity

The free version permits up to 15 photos and 5 videos. Full Version removes those item-count limits and unlocks Duress PIN, Private Notes, and location-data removal. It does not provide unlimited device storage, cloud storage, backup space, or guaranteed capacity. Capacity and video recording length depend on available storage and operating conditions.

Purchases

Full Version and Private Camera are separate non-consumable purchases. Private Camera enables direct photo and video capture but does not remove the free item-count limits. Restore Purchase restores eligible purchase entitlements associated with your Apple Account; it does not restore photos, videos, vault contents, or encryption keys.

Apple license terms

Your use of Album Shield is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a custom license agreement is displayed for the app in your region.
