Album Shield Support

Unlock the app, open Settings → Language, and select English, Français or Español. Your vault contents and purchase status stay the same.

Use your configured PIN or enabled Face ID or Touch ID. A separate Duress PIN opens the second vault.

After several incorrect guesses, Album Shield imposes a short wait before you can try again, growing longer with repeated failures. Face ID, Touch ID and your device passcode are never affected.

Open Settings and use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase. This restores eligible paid features; it does not restore or transfer your vault files.

Store up to 15 photos and 5 videos with no time limit. Album Shield Pro removes these count limits for a one-time $9.99 USD purchase. Actual storage depends on device space.

Private Camera is a separate $2.99 USD add-on. Open the plus menu and select Camera to capture photos or videos directly into the vault. Allow camera and microphone access when needed.

Open the locked Hidden section and authenticate. Deleted photos and videos can be restored for up to 15 days. Delete Now is permanent, and expired items cannot be recovered.

Find Folders, Tags and Map under the plus menu. Open a photo to access editing tools, including cropping, adjustments, filters and redaction. Map views require available location metadata.

After a photo or video is safely copied into the encrypted vault, Album Shield asks whether to delete the original from Apple Photos. Choose Delete from Photos or Keep in Photos — nothing is removed without that confirmation, every time.

Exported files leave the encrypted vault. Copies saved to Photos, Files or another destination are managed by that destination.

No. Export and back up important media yourself. Deleting the app or losing access to the device can mean losing the local vault. The developer cannot recover your private media.
